After much anticipation, Hilton Auckland announces the full internal refurbishment with upgraded facilities is complete. Internationally renowned architectural firm Chada were awarded the large-scale refurbishment, with the aim of introducing contemporary design elements to the hotel’s facilities, guest rooms and restaurants to accommodate the increasingly diverse tourism market.
Situated in the grandstand position on Auckland’s harbour the interiors have been designed to reflect their premium location, with reference to Auckland’s most significant asset - the Waitemata Harbour.
The total refurbishment encompasses Hilton Auckland’s 166 rooms, meeting spaces, lobby and both Bellini and the premiere seafood dining FISH Restaurant. The redesigned rooms feature floor-to-ceiling windows, contemporary amenities, and spectacular city to harbour views. The designer Bow and Relaxation Suites are inspired with nautical elements, now featuring balcony with panoramic harbour and city views, separate living area and luxurious large marble bathroom with walk-in shower. Each suite features a custom-designed carpet to inspire a sand-to-water journey.
